Chet Holmgren & Minnehaha back with it for the Sectional Semi-Finals tonight! Mahtomedi HS started off hot giving their student fan section something to talk about. Minnehaha took a slight 10 point lead going into the half 26-16. When the second half came around, Chet & the squad turned it around to shut them up. They had everything working from the 3 point jumpers to lob city! Minnehaha easily secured the sectional semi’s & now are headed to the finals. Ya gotta watch this one!

@packers256 better than nothing... The amount of COVID-19 you injest and are exposed to matters. If you are exposed to low amounts you might not get sick. Research also shows that getting exposed to a higher viral count correlates to worse sickness. The masks covering their mouths also stop saliva from coming out which carries a much higher viral load than just breath. Yes, wearing it fully covering their mouths and noses would be better, but this is better than nothing as well as better than most are doing.

I don’t like the way they trash talk after a dunk or posing like they just accomplished something. It is bad sportsmanship strutting around. You can go a lot farther in your career if you’re competitive and athletic with a hint or respect to your opponent and lots of class. Ask Jalen Suggs . Very first game he played for Gonzaga, Only a couple plays into the game against Kansas the Zags steal the ball and Ayaie threw a perfect lob to Suggs for a two handed jam over the top of a Kansas player, perfect! Then Suggs ruined the moment by taunting that player while strutting backwards. Earned him a technical foul. Wouldn’t that have looked bad, say, in the last seconds of a tie game for Final Four spot? The players here should start practicing on how “not” to rub it in with trash talk and strutting.. obviously, Jalen learned quickly to Never”Rub “It in again. @Colleen Hall flagrent fouls have nothing to do with what we are talking about.Intentionally fouling a player hard or trying to hurt them is not even close to the same as celebration. Being an athlete takes hard work and lots of dedication. The kids that are the most successful should be able to show off and have fun if they are that good. As for the scrubs there's always intermerial league or backyard basketball if the high school level is to intense for them and if there feelings are being hurt. There's no crying in baseball. Same goes for basketball.
