It's not that Shaqir is lazy or blah blah blah. He got into basketball kinda late and he's not that talented. SHaq's Bball abilities were great but mostly naturally predicated on being bigger and more athletic than literally everybody else. All of that said, he still has a gait like a big man and still looks underdeveloped physically at 17. I wouldn't be surprised if he grew 2 or three more inches. He's 6'5" or 6'6" now but could end at 6'8." Still maybe just a low major D-1 player.

Unlike shareef who was and has always been dedicated to basketball, shaqir has been known to be a slacker. He truly may love basketball but not the love it takes to dedicated yourself to the game and be the best you can be. He has all the skills you can’t teach such as natural abilities, height, direct lineage from his father but it seems he cares more so about the connections and popularity he’s gain as he’s benefited from those factors. Trying to live up to your fathers image is one thing but he has a brother closer in age that he clearly could’ve mastered his craft under but chose the route of clout and allowing people to assume he’ll be good simply because Shaq was a legend and shareef is most likely to make his own name. Shaqir doesn’t have what it takes no matter how many schools he transfers to.

I'm so jealous of these kids coming up in the game now. LOL They get to f#ck around in the layup drills and the coaches encourage the 3 point shot vs the 2 and won't even get too mad if they go for a stupid crazy dunk attempt vs a layup on a breakaway. It's pretty much a free flowing type of game now for them with no restrictions. Gets real sloppy at times but they're having more fun playing organized ball now than we did coming up.

He isn’t that good at all. He has a guard size with no guard skill. He doesn’t seem very athletic in the half court, haven’t seen him shoot enough to judge his shooting and he seems lazy on defense.
